Welcome to the GIVING SUNWAYIAN webpage, where we foster a culture of generosity within the vibrant Sunway community through the sharing of Time, Talent, Treasure, Testimony and Ties.

Giving comes in various forms such as giving our time, knowledge & resources, and emotional support. Each type of giving is meaningful to the well-being of individuals and community. To give, is to receive, and there is no giver if there is no receiver.

SunFest is more than a fundraising event, it celebrates compassion and unity. Through engaging activities, it highlights the importance of altruism while offering a fun and fulfilling experience. The aim is to inspire students to take action, embrace empathy, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

"As Sunway Student Ambassadors (SSA), we believe that giving doesn't always require grand gestures or monetary contributions. Instead, it can be as simple as a small act of kindness, using our time and talent to help, serve, and make a meaningful impact on our community and the world"

Sunway Student Ambassador (SSA)

The Heart of Education is the Education of the Heart. In Sunway Education, I had the privilege and honor of having my dreams aligned with our Founder, Tan Sri Sir Jeffrey Cheah’s dreams. For me to stay on so long in this institution, there must be something here that is meaningful to me. As a Foundation that operates with a non-profit mindset, Sunway Education is very much in the business of giving back to the community.

Feed The Future

"Feed The Future" was not just a community service project I led, it was a transformative journey in support of The Assembly Soup Kitchen. We organised a charity concert to raise vital funds, and from coordinating donations to personally packing and delivering meals, every step deepened our understanding of homelessness and strengthened our commitment to giving back. During the project, I had the immense privilege of reconnecting with social work, something I was deeply involved in my home country of Mauritius, which made the experience all the more meaningful and personal.
