Explore our services
Counselling is offered in areas such as relationship, family issues, academic challenges, stress and anxiety, emotional issues and adjustment to campus life.
A small group of 6-10 students meet face-to-face with one or more trained facilitators and talk about a particular topic. The content of the group sessions is confidential.
Workshops & Talks
We are dedicated to empowering your overall well-being through a diverse selection of mental health workshops and talks. Topics include youth-related issues, managing university challenges, stress management, cultural adaptation, and personal development.
Mental Health Awareness Programme
Mental Health Awareness Programme aims to help you recognise the importance of mental health services and increase awareness of the importance of psychological and emotional needs. Programmes include talks, forums, exhibition, and other thought-provoking activities.
Mental Health Screening or Assessment
Sunway Counselling & Wellness Unit offers mental health screening and psychological assessment for students. It helps to understand the nature of the problem and findings will be used to derive appropriate intervention and support plan.

The We-CARE team is a collaborative effort between Counselling & Wellness and the Academic program to provide help to students seeking assistance beyond the scope of academic support.
As a student, if you need help in: academic areas, family and personal relationships, financial management, or any other aspect of your life, please don't hesitate to reach out to any member of the We-CARE team. Additionally, the counseling team is available to support you as well.
Peer Counselling Volunteers
The Peer Counselling Volunteers (PCV) program is a student-led support network on campus. As PCVs, we aim to foster a culture of peer-to-peer assistance, where students help their peers with various life concerns and challenges. Our team consists of trained counselors who can offer guidance and support to those in need.
To enhance our skills and knowledge, we undergo continuous training. If you're on a journey of self-discovery or seeking ways to support your friends and peers, joining our PCV program is the rewarding opportunity you’re looking for!
