Driven by a deep commitment to compassion and service, the Sunway University Islamic Society (SUIS) has become a beacon of hope, bringing people together through faith- inspired initiatives that uplift lives, strengthen communities, and foster meaningful connections both on and beyond campus. Guided by the belief that the greatest individuals are those who bring the most benefit to others, SUIS has cultivated a culture where giving is viewed as both a responsibility and a way of life. Throughout its journey, the society has organised impactful initiatives including Grand Iftar, Charity Donation drives, Mosque Trips, Halaqah sessions, and the highly meaningful Infaq Ramadhan programme, which distributed free food packs to students and staff through generous public contributions.
Beyond serving the Muslim community, SUIS warmly welcomes students of all backgrounds, fostering understanding, inclusivity, and appreciation of Islamic values through shared experiences. Rooted in the spirit of Sadaqah, which means “donate” or “to give whole heartedly”, the club continues to inspire students to embrace kindness, volunteerism, and community engagement. By balancing academic commitments with unwavering dedication to service, SUIS has nurtured generations of socially responsible leaders whose efforts strengthen communities, promote unity, and leave a lasting legacy of compassion, generosity, and positive social impact.
